Crochet Pokeball Pattern

So, I wanted to start a blog and share free patterns will you lovely lot! This is for a full pattern of my Pokeball rattle, although, the rattle part is optional.
Pattern Notes-
· This pattern is in US terminology.
· Worked in continuous rounds unless stated otherwise.
Abbreviations-
· MR = Magic Ring
· St(s) = Stitch(es)
· Sc = Single Crochet (UK = Double Crochet)
· Inc = Increase | Crochet two into same stitch
· Dec = Decrease | Crochet two stitches together
Materials-
· Aran (10 ply/worsted weight) Cotton Yarn in Red, White and Black
I used Paintbox Cotton Aran in Rose Red, Paper White and Pure Black
· 3.5mm Crochet Hook
· Scissors
· Yarn Needle
· Stuffing
· Rattle Insert (Optional)

You are more than welcome to use any yarn and hook size as gauge is not important. Using a 3.5mm hook and aran yarn will make this pokeball approximately 2.5 inches.
So, lets get started!
Pokeball-
Using red yarn:
Row 1: MR. 6 sc into centre of the ring. (6 sts)
Row 2: [Inc] 6 times (12 sts)
Row 3: [sc, inc] 6 times (18 sts)
Row 4: [2 sc, inc] 6 times (24 sts)
Row 5: [3 sc, inc] 6 times (30 sts)
Row 6: [4 sc, inc] 6 times (36 sts)
Row 7: [5 sc, inc] 6 times (42 sts)
Rows 8-9: 42 sc (42 sts)
Change to black yarn:
Rows 10-11: 42 sc (42 sts)
Change to white yarn:
Rows 12-14: 42 sc (42 sts)
Row 15: [5 sc, dec] 6 times (36 sts)
Row 16: [4 sc, dec] 6 times (30 sts)
Row 17: [3 sc, dec] 6 times (24 sts)
Row 18: [2 sc, dec] 6 times (18 sts)
*Stuff firmly. Optional extra: insert rattle.*
Row 19: [Sc, dec] 6 times (12 sts)
Row 20: [Dec] 6 times (6 sts)
*Finish stuffing.*
Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Large circle-
Using black yarn:
Row 1: MR. 6 sc into centre of the ring. (6 sts)
Row 2: [Inc] 6 times (12 sts)
Fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing.

Small circle-
Using white yarn:
Row 1: MR. 6 sc into centre of the ring. (6 sts)
Fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing.
Assembly-
Sew the small circle onto the large circle.

Sew the large circle onto the pokeball between rows 10 and 11, where the rows start.

Weave in ends.
